INTRODUCTION TO THEATRE
Course Description
Introduction to Theatre is designed to provide an overview of the world of theatre. The course will cover the principles, theory, concepts, technique and terminology to develop an awareness of the opportunities available in theatre as well as develop the skills to communicate across disciplines with other artists regardless of the specific position they choose to pursue. Students will develop a foundation of skills that they will build upon as they continue the theatre program at Patapsco High School. One of the primary goals of this course is for students to develop an ensemble as a class and learn how to collaborate and learn from others.
